Graduate/Undergraduate Mentorship Program 2017-2018

The SWiP leadership team is excited to announce a new graduate/undergraduate mentorship program debuting this year in conjunction with UChicago's graduate organization Women in Physics. The program will involve tiered mentorship pairs and groups, consisting of multiple graduate and undergraduate students all at different stages of their physics educational journeys. More information, including how to participate, will be coming soon. Stay tuned!

First Year Mentorship Program 2016-2017

During the 2016-2017 school year, SWiP organized a mentorship program matching first year participants with upperclassmen. Pairs met for coffee (thanks to Dollop giftcards from KICP), attended social events with other participants, and met with physics department chair Young-Kee Kim. Mentorship pairs were established by SWiP leadership based on the goals of first year participants. By many accounts the program was very successful.
