Kawtar Hafidi
In March of 2017, Kawtar Hafidi, Director of the Physics Division at Argonne National Laboratory, visited the University of Chicago to speak with SWiP about her experiences as a woman in physics, first in Morocco, then in France, then in the United States with Argonne. She bestowed many nuggets of wisdom through her vibrant stories. A reception followed Dr. Hafidi's presentation, giving everyone the opportunity to converse with our speaker. The event was well-attended by undergraduates and graduate students alike, visitors as well as regular SWiP members.
